How To Install Turf
Preparing the ground
- If the ground is really hard, watering the area the night before helps soften the ground for step #2.
- Make sure to cap, reroute, or remove any irrigation to avoid puncturing water lines.
- Remove any existing grass, rock, or loose debris 3-4” below border. This can be done easily with a sod cutter, pick axe, or shovel.
- (OPTIONAL) Spray entire desired area with an all vegetation killer or pre-emergent.

Cool Flo Technology
Cool Flo Technology is the latest innovation in the artificial grass industry. When the sun is out and it’s hot, synthetic turf doesn’t stay as cool as natural grass to do the natural water content found in natural grass. Synthetic grass does not radiate heat like rock, pavement, or brick. Cool Flo Technology allows heat to dissipate passively. Our Cool Flow Technology has been tested by experts in the controlled environment, and has proven to keep turf 15 percent cooler.
TurfHub warrants that for fifteen (15) years from the date of synthetic turf installation, the turf, when installed and maintained as recommended by the turf manufacturer. If any area or portion of the turf substantially changes, as distinguished from a change in texture, or if the pile heights decrease 50% or more within ten years after its initial installation, TurfHub will have such areas or portions replaced, excluding installation costs.
